SongBird

I hear alot of birdsong where I live. Magpies nest in the trees across the road and regularly forage in my front yard. Sometimes, they even stand outside my open front door on the concrete, as if waiting for something.

Apparently it has recently been proved that songbirds originated in Australia..

"In 1986, it was thought that all songbirds like robins, wrens and nightingales originated in the northern hemisphere before migrating to Australia via Asia."

Apparently, it aint neccessarily so..
